By providing the pedigree info of your boating adventure to your loved ones, The Float Plan app will give them more peace of mind and also help rescuers obtain your party's location if an unsightly event occurs.

Version 2 is now live. Here's what we've added:

AMAZING NEW FEATURES:

Added iCalendar integration - automatically sets up reminders to cancel your float plan and let your loved ones know you’ve returned safely
Added Trace Route functionality - now provide your loved ones with an image of the route you expect to take.
Split out Power/Sail Boat options vs. Paddle Boat options
Added options specific for Paddle Boats (kayaks, canoes, paddle boards)

Resolved App Crash / Save issues
Now add a Boat Photo to your Float Plan
Adjusted work flow so Captain Info is only required once for multiple boats
Added DOB to Captain Info
Added confirmation of Launch / Destination GPS coordinates
Added Land Vehicle Info
Added Email information. Now includes boat photo, traced route image, land vehicle info, automatically CCs anyone chosen from contacts in your float plan passenger list and hyperlinks to GPS coordinates.
Improved, customized social setup preferences
Improved Multiple Selection boxes
Improved Settings Page
