Team Ocean Kayak wins Third Coast Kayak Series Port O’Connor, Texas

Team Ocean Kayak continued their tournament success by winning their third
straight team victory in the Third Coast Kayak Series. Vincent Rinando placed 1st overall in the stringer division and Captain Filip Spencer placed 1st in the redfish division. Team members Sam Rinando placed 4th overall and Clint Barghi placed 5th overall. Clint Barghi also won smallest redfish and smallest trout honors which is no easy feat. By the end of the day Clint was downsizing his lures and changing his tactics in an effort to catch smaller fish, something contrary to the team philosophy. The Third Coast Kayak Series has two more events scheduled in Port Mansfield and Rockport. Team Ocean Kayak is on pace to win Angler of the Year, Team of the Year and have at least four members in the Top 10 standings. This has been a really fun series with venues in Port Isabel, Port Mansfield, and Port O’Connor. With the ability to alternate teammates in a four man rotation, everyone has been able to contribute to this team accomplishment.

3rd place Filip Spencer 50 points 3rd place Team Zero
