I ordered this kayak and bought it new without testing it, and let me tell you I went from a sea kayak(thin and fast) to this hybred tri hull (tank) yes I said TANK, I used to paddle 20+ miles no problem. With this kayak I'm not going so far anytime soon. But if you are looking for a super stable kayak that you can get in and out and not feel tippy, all kinds of room, not feel like your old butt will be trapped if you did find a way to tip it, then this is the kayak for you. but I am not kidding it is a Tank, Make sure you do not want to paddle super far or fast, I will tell ya that the seat lets you recline back and you can put your legs up and it is the best position to "fish" or nap lol I took it our in high winds and it is a slow go, high waves from 40 ft boats never made me feel unsafe but a little water can and will get in the kayak. I personally carry a sponge and use that if necessary. I am still buying things for it and I am sure I will be fishing from my new tank for many years...
