Report: So far March has proven to be right on schedule with the impending spring and summer Belize fishing season. As we enter spring and summer the fishing in Belize will take off like a rocket as migrating gargantuan tarpon begin schooling just a few miles to the backside of Ambergris Caye. The Permit enters an aggressive state preparing for spawning and the bones as usual are in mass abundance around every turn of the mangrove-lined coves. The tarpon fishing is hitting pretty good as well with Mosquito Caye and Savanna Caye providing large schools of thirty to seventy pounders actively rolling across the flats chasing dinner between the two islands. With the action starting to heat up, now is the perfect time to start planning your Belize fishing adventure. If you're looking for a company featuring over twenty-five years of saltwater fly-fishing experience visit Bite Me Belize Fishing Adventures. Jim "Big D" Harper and his staff will be happy to get you hooked up with tons of fish to make your Belize fishing vacation one to remember for life. |
