Review Detail

This is my first kayak, and the only one that I have ever paddled, but I am very well satisfied with the boat. The only drawback to me, is no hatch in the cockpit, since it's far too hard to get to the front hatch. The yak comes with great carry handles and is sturdy. Even the factory plastic seat is comfortable. Pretty quick and nimble, tracks straight, not too heavy, and doesn't take on water. I like the selection of colors (I have the sandstone) and the yak comes with a 3 year warranty. Overall, I am satisfied with it, and the only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is the lack of aftermarket support, the lack of a cockpit hatch, and I would like to have had some sort of extra rod storage. But for the price (I picked mine up for 560 with a paddle brand new) I don't feel that you can go wrong.
