Kayak Bass Fishing by Chad Hoover

The world record largemouth bass was caught in a makeshift wooden boat in otherwise inaccessible water.ᅠ It makes sense. Finding trophy fish in a secluded oxbow should be easier than doing the same in a heavily pressured lake or impoundment. This is just one of many reasons why kayaks are one of the most effective and versatile platforms for catching bass, and this book helps you choose, outfit and use the kayak to catch more fish.

But this isn't just about fishing from kayaks. This book is about improving your overall largemouth, smallmouth and striped bass fishing experience. Anglers of every skill level will benefit from the secrets and strategies that obsessed bass angler Chad Hoover has learned from years of catching trophy bass. The insight he's gained by using his kayak to remain undetected and observe bass reacting naturally to different lure presentations, is invaluable and guaranteed to improve your effectiveness on the water.

Whether you're an experienced angler, new to kayak fishing, or simply looking for some valuable new insight about catching bass, Kayak Bass Fishing is an absolute must-read book that will help you catch 'em where others can't!

Kayak Fishing Stuff Anchor Trolley Kit
We wanted to carry an anchor trolley that would not only be functional and durable but easy to install. We also wanted to limit the amount of holes you are drilling into the kayak so every component is fastened with a single hole as opposed to using deck loops which need 2 holes drilled each and will wear from friction. We compiled what we feel is a great system and can be installed on the kayak in 10 minutes. This system is designed to work with an anchor, drift sock or a stake-out pole and is a bow to stern system.

Kayakfishing : The Revolution by Ken Daubert
The book is basicly an invitation to join the kayakfishing revolution and become a member of the kayakfishing community who fish anywhere from small ponds to open oceans from their kayaks. Citing the strategic, economical and convenience advantages of fishing by kayak-the most overlooked, effective, efficient, and convenient way to: fish with less hassle, fish more often, catch more fish, have more fun and save money doing it-the book makes a strong case for selling your big boat. Target readers are fishermen who have never fished by kayak before, kayakers who have never fished from their kayak before, and individuals who have never kayaked or fished but think that they might like to give it a try. The book also has plenty of tips and techniques of interest to experienced kayakfishermen as well because it draws on a wealth of information from top kayakfishing experts and pros from all over the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. It also profiles the learning experiences of new incoming kayakfishermen with various angling interests and degrees of experience who are just as enthusiastic about helping newcomers as they are about practicing their sport. Included is advice on how to: choose the right kayak for you, choose the right accessories, and customize a kayak, including the installation of live bait tanks, rodholders, depthfinders and more. The book also teaches kayakfishing skills and techniques such as kayak flyfishing, lure fishing, live bait fishing, including kayak fish stalking, fish fighting, fish handling, including kayakfishing safety. The book also has a special resource chapter that directs the reader to "kayakfishing friendly" paddle and tackle shops in their area. It also lists sellers of specialized kayakfishing accessories, kayak manufacturers, kayakfishing schools, instructors, guides, outfitters and Internet websites where where readers can get free advice and information. Also included are email addresses of experienced kayak anglers who are anxious to help and guide newcomers, and the kayakfishing bulletin board addresses where they hang out and converse on the Internet.

KayRak Kayak Outrigger System
The KayRak kayak outrigger system has a completely modular design. All the base units are compatible with our kayaking accessories , sailing rigs and double outriggers. Create a system that suits your needs, whether it's kayak fishing, kayak gear or pet transport, kayak stability or any other use of this versatile kayak outrigger system. follow our easy 1-2-3 steps to selecting the right system.

Permanent mount systems are easily removed in 2-3 minutes but require 4 holes to be drilled in your kayak . Fasteners can be installed and removed without tools. Plastic knobs are provided to secure the system to the kayak deck . All under-deck hardware has smooth edges to prevent damage to drybags and other delicate gear.

If you would like to try a kayRak system without drilling holes in your kayak, you may wish to consider a strap-mount system. This set-up also allows quick movement from one kayak to another. Strap-mount systems can be converted to permanent mount with a mounting hardware kit

Choose between single pole and double pole systems

It is important that your outrigger system does not obstruct your paddle stroke. The position of the outrigger pole relative to where you are sitting in the kayak will determine this. Email us the make and model of your kayak and we can make a recommendation. Generally single pole systems are used on SOT (sit-on-top) kayaks and shorter standard models.
