Heliconia Launches Kayak Fishing GAME ON Movie Website and Trailer E-mail

August 4th, 2008- The Heliconia Press is very excited to announce the launch of the Kayak Fishing: GAME ON website and trailer (www.kayakfishingmovie.com). For release in Spring 2009, the film follows renowned big-game kayak angler Jim Sammons around North America on the kayak fishing adventure of a lifetime. Jim hooks up with local kayak fishing pros as he seeks out tarpon in Florida, halibut and king salmon in Alaska, tuna and marlin in Baja, stripers in Chesapeake Bay, and muskie in Canada.

 The new trailer features footage captured during Jim Sammons’ recent travels to Florida , on the hunt for tarpon with pro angler, Greg Bowdish, and to Alaska in chase of monster halibut with local legend, Howard McKim.The website also hosts a blog sharing the team’s experiences and showcasing the stunning photography of Jock Bradley.  Shooting for the film continues this month as Jim hooks up with local pro, Jamie Pistilli, on the prowl for freshwater’s biggest and meanest fish—the muskie.
