Suspenz Kayak Storage System E-mail

If you are like most paddlers, often you have more than one boat in your stable, which can be a good thing as well as bad. You must find a place to store them, which will lead you to discovering what options are available. You can attempt to construct something yourself, adapt various products meant for other uses, or consider only a few dedicated products that don’t seem much more beneficial than what you could make yourself, until now. New on the market is an innovative way of addressing the issue. Suspenz Kayak Storage System has developed a fresh look to fit the needs of paddlers with one to three boats. Their system has many advantages over a homemade system. The Suspenz is not only more structurally sound than wood or PVC it adds versatility, security and adjustability in the way it can be set up as well as changed later. Its ease of use is unique. It offers a greater measure of safety – your boats will stay where you put them, not falling off and squishing little fife or your child and it does all this while cradling your boat in the most optimal manner, on its edge, which is most beneficial with polyethylene boats in preventing hull distortions. Though the Suspenz does require more vertical space, it takes up less floor space – only 24” as opposed to 34” required for flat storage as in the before photograph.

There are two ways you can utilize the Suspenz, either wall mount or by attaching the wall mount to their optional floor stand bases, which with an additional extension, can hold up to three boats –Versatile. Each individual rack supports a boat that is 34” or less wide, 23” or less deep and up to 100 lbs. – Strong. If wall mounting is your method you can place them nearly anywhere you desire. With the optional floor stands you can attach the racks on the stands and adjust them up or down in 2” increments – Adjustable. Suspenz did not ignore safety features, which are present in a number of areas. First, when you set your boat on the cradle strap the boats weight lifts up the locking arm towards the boat, and then a locking pin is inserted into the arm for absolute security. Second, the load strap incorporates a buckle lock that when closed encircles the entire boat. Each boat cradle has a locking pin that locks it into the wall mount bracket or the floor base as well, making removal and adjustments a snap. The floor base stands have leveling feet as well as an anti-tipping bracket that can be screwed to the floor, such as a dock, when used outdoors, though not necessary indoors – Security.

Installation is quite simple and all the necessary hardware is included, even a wrench. I have been very impressed with the attention to detail that Suspenz has gone to in designing and constructing their system right down to the instructions and packing which insures your system will arrive safely.

There are many applications for the Suspenz System because of their unique and well though out design features. From garages, boat docks and retail showrooms, paddlers, rental facilities and retail stores should find the Suspenz System well worth a closer look.
