Reader Fil Martinez from WA starts out this week's reader reports with a nice Rainbow Trout. Fil reports. "Picked up this 22 inch Rainbow at lake Sylvia yesterday (6-23) morning. t was drizzly when I got there and there weren’t many other people out on the water. Being the first time I’ve fished on this lake I was going slow watching the fish finder for structure and fish. I was running a 4 inch Yozuri Chrystal Minnow and less than ten minutes after I started paddling my rod bends over double. Judging by the bend it was either a large stump or a decent trout. An instant later I hear a large splash as the fish starts jumping. 5 exciting and very energetic minutes later I had it netted boat side. "
Corey Galloway from Alabama checks in with a little bit of humor! You can find more pics and stories from Cory's day at his blog, From Cube 2 Kayak.
And last but not least, Kell Eckert had a blur of a day on the Thames River in Connecticut.
