THE CAPTDICK STAKEOUTPOLE IS FEATURED IN THE APRIL/MAY 2006 ISSUE OF THE "SHALLOW WATER ANGLER" MAGAZINE. IN THE ARTICLE "KAYAKING A SIGHT BIT BETTER" AUTHOR AND KAYAK ANGLER, LARRY KINDER, STATES "CAPTDICK ENTERPRISES OFFERS A STAKEOUTPOLE THAT HAS WORKED LIKE A CHARM FOR ME. ON WINDY DAYS, A KAYAK WILL ZIP ALONG AT A PRETTY GOOD CLIP. DRAGGING A TRADITIONAL ANCHOR WILL EITHER STOP YOU COMPLETELY OR TEAR UP THE SEAGRASS ON SHALLOW BOTTOM AND MAKE TOO MUCH NOISE. A STAKEOUTPOLE IS A BETTER METHOD."
The StakeOutPole has a 6061- T6 machined aluminum tip and a rigid foam grip with an adjustable length lanyard and Stainless Spring Clip to secure to your kayak. The fiberglass StakeOutPole is 1 inch in diameter with 1/8 inch wall thickness for durability. The length is 5 feet. The StakeOutPole used in conjunction with our Anchor Trolley Kit allows you to position your kayak for perfect lure or bait presentation. The StakeOutPole may also be used instead of an anchor to secure your kayak through a scupper hole. This is a much quicker and quieter operation than using a noisy anchor. The StakeOutPole will increase your kayak fishing success and enjoyment. Be sure to check out our other kayak fishing accessories.
