Glacier Glove – Perfect Curve Glove |

Temps in the mid 80s aren’t the day to test out a pair of new gloves but that’s the day they arrived. However weather is so fickle and I’m sure we’ll have some cold again soon. I first became aware of Glacier Gloves in the mid 90s when I moved back to the East Coast and started surf fishing again. They worked but their newest glove, the Perfect Curve Glove, is far beyond that early neoprene pair. The company calls it their warmest paddling glove. Features include 2mm fleece lined Yamamoto neoprene, blind stitched and glued seems, wrist strap to keep water out and the fingers are pre-curved to fight fatigue. I had to try them on and I can say the fleece feels fantastic against the skin. It reminds me of my favorite first layer garment that’s also fleece lined. I know when the weather changes and I need to wear gloves my hands are going to be the warmest they’ve ever been while in a kayak. While I’m glad temps are finally seasonable part of me can’t wait for a glove day. They’ll be in my dry bag for now on - two warm thumbs up. www.glacieroutdoor.com |
