Report: The fishing has never been better here in the Midwest Region! We have been fortunate to receive much moisture this spring and summer and the lakes have filled much higher than the previous 8 years. Wipers and White Bass are starting to school and chase shad at area lakes. This is some fascinating fishing from the kayak! Most water is in the low 80’s. We are catching good numbers of quality Largemouth Bass. You can fish topwater or still throw plastic along the lake edges for a huge bass. We have caught more Bluegill over 10 inches that I can remember this year. Want to get towed! The Catfish are biting mostly at night and you can get a nice one from the kayak. The kayak fishing explosion has hit the Midwest with requests up for rentals and guided trips. We offer one of the lowest priced packages anywhere! Our main fishing source is Rock Creek, a pristine, spring fed 55 acre lake loaded with fish! It is like an oasis in the middle of Southwest Nebraska hill country. We also offer some exciting slow moving river trips. Contact us today for your next Kayak fishing trip! Here is our link: www.kayakjak.com/fishing |
