Report: Southwest Nebraska has seen a very cool August with temps and weather more like Fall.

The water temps have really dropped but the Largemouth Bass are still on a strong bite during the first and last hours of daylight each day. We are having great success with our Weedless Wacky Worm setup. You can view a video on YouTube about how we fish it. Also, the Panfish, Trout, and Catfish are still being caught in good numbers at most area lakes. If you can get on the bigger lakes at the right time you will run into huge schools of White Bass and can catch them on small doll flies. We have had a huge interest in rentals lately
and the Midwest is just exploding with kayak fishing. We have had clients from as far away as California this past month. We have a beautiful "Oasis" right here in SW Nebraska that holds some huge Bass and crystal clear water. Come on out and enjoy a day on the water with one of our kayaks! We also offer an incredible Dutch Oven shore lunch!
