Report: The snook fishing on the beach has been world class lately. The smaller baits such as Spanish sardines and glass minnows and little greenbacks are on the beach and the snook are gorging themselves on them. This is one of the best times to get these fish on a fly rod for sure! The big fish are in the pass too especially well this past last week. Its the thickest I've seen them so far this summer. I got one last week that was pushing 40 inches.

The Redfishing has been good. You just gotta get up early or fish the sunset. Beating the heat is definitely key during the summer. They will eat top waters really good at dusk and dawn. The trout I have been really good on the beach lately. Nice 20-25 inch trout makes for a surprise while snook fishing on the beach... The big tarpon are out on the beach. I have got a couple out of boats so far. I'm ready to get one out of the yak and get that fun rush. If you are going tarpon fishing bring a couple buddies as a lot can happen and happen quick. It is definitely one of the coolest experiences though. The Little guy tarpon are back up in the creeks and such they roll real good at sunrise and sunset and in the rain. Pompano have been thick too on the sand bars and passes with clean water on a in coming tide preferably.. They will eat the Docks jigs really well. Shark fishing at night is kicking off we got a 5 foot bull on a first try this summer. We will get some big ones this summer. Fishing's is good like always!!
