Not just a fishing kayak. I use mine for duck hunting too. This thing is awesome. It is so steady on the water that I imagine I would have to really TRY to tip it over. It is not the fastest thing on the water, but I am not out there to set any records...unless you count fish size. The versatility of these boats in terms of accessories and the way you can set it up to be your own is amazing. I don;t think there are enough nice words to talk about the seat. All day comfort is probably the best way to get started though. It is like sitting on your lawn chair while floating down your favorite river. None of the aches and pains I used to get from other seats after an all day fishing trip. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat. If I had to pick one thing I didn't like about it I would say that the price was a little steep, but after sitting in this thing all day and not having the usual butt numbing. leg cramping, I guess it is worth it.
