Wintertime fishing along the Texas Coast from Huston to south padre has been really good this year with water temperature staying in the mid sixties targeting the fish in a 3 to 4 foot water range. 

Being able to be on the water during the is cooler months makes it so much more enjoyable than the summertime, not only are you able to spend more time on the water but it seem  you insert less energy due to cooler temperatures.

Most of the fish that we've been catching have been hitting slow sinking hard bates like a catch 2000 and riptide paddle tale mullets in various colors. With springtime approaching and the weather along the Texas Coast being as nice as it's been this is a golden opportunity for every one to get your fishing equipment and your kayaks ready for those beautiful sunny days after work and go out and have a good time for a few hours relax and enjoy yourself catching fish will come naturally.
